Resident of the Month
Jean Chandler
Jean
is a native Houstonian, who was so anxious to get out into the
world, that she was born in the elevator at Memorial
Hermann Hospital. Shehas been a whirlwind ever since, getting people to participate and have fun.
Jean
met her future husband, Jim Chandler through a friend and they dated for 1 year
before marrying in 1964. During her life she has worked as a Secretary/Administrative
Assistant for an insurance company, a lawyer and a
Psychiatry group.
Jean has 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren.
She
has many fond memories of vacations at Daytona Beach and their beach house on
the Bolivar Peninsula.
Sewing,
quilting, gardening, raising miniature schnauzers, square dancing and reading
are just a few of her hobbies. She has even been on several “Elvis Cruises”
from Galveston; she was one of his biggest fans.
